The "Lawson's Legacy" Museum is a family friendly historical museum of the west about the early settlement of Owyhee county and southern Idaho. The museum collections include artifacts from the late 1800's and early 20th century, that were used by Owyhee county pioneers and other early Idaho settlers.
Highlights include: Sheep camps, Silver City artifacts, Rock displays, Mining, Indian artifacts, Farm machinery and much, much more! The collections will give you a wonderful glimpse into how Idaho's early Idahoans lived, worked, and played.
Formerly the Emu-Z-Um when the previous owners, the Lawson's, operated it with an emu farm. Now named in their honor, over 50 rooms of stuff await your exploration.
