Cedar Creek is a large tributary of Early Winters Creek near its mouth west of Mazama. Its falls are one of the few well known waterfalls in the Mazama area. The gorge cut by Cedar Creek extends a good 3 miles upstream from its mouth, not quite culminating at this waterfall, but it gets a start with the falls, dropping 40 and 55 feet in two successive tiers. The two tiers cannot be seen together due to a grove of trees growing on the gorge wall, but each tier can be seen separately.
