Every second Saturday in June, giant farming vehicles wreak destruction on one another in this once-a-year Agri-nightmare face off.
Old farm combines, some decorated, let loose in separate heats, reaching speeds of up to 15 mph, until only one remains. Also breathtaking is watching the referees run about blowing whistles, and trying to avoid getting run over. Between heats watch them weld the wheels back on, or join the other rednecks in the beer garden. There is even a raffle where the lucky winner gets the chance to drive a combine in the final heat.
Great fun and highly popular annual event dating back to 1990. The fun includes car, truck, and grain truck races in the dirt arena. Parades, live music, and community BBQ round out the activities.
