Big Hole

Lake County, OR

Big Hole is the bigger brother to the nearby Hole in the Ground. It is a large maar crater in Fort Rock Basin in Oregon. The crater is approximately 6,000 feet (1,820 m) across and 300 feet (91 m) deep, but is far more eroded and overgrown than the Hole in the ground crater.
