American Goldfinch

The strange white head caught my eye out the kitchen window. Also it's body is a
bit browner than the other non-breeding males. A new look for winter?

Nice capture Linda. Is it common for Goldfinch to stay over winter? I can't recall one being here this late.

Interesting, isn't it? Sometimes birds have some odd coloured plumage. Nevertheless, this is a fabulous shot.
