This is Mother Nature's gift to our neighbourhood. No wind or snow and a fast
deep freeze leaves the ponds like glass. Perfect for skating and it happens rarely.
With the clear ice you can see weeds trapped in the frozen pond. These conditions happened
only a few times when our children were young.
