I was in the kitchen making soup when the Blue Jays started up a racket. When I looked
out every bird had vanished from the feeders and this little guy was frozen in place on
the back porch. He didn't move a muscle for over five minutes. Our resident Cooper's Hawk
must have made a fly past.
