This is not as cute as a feeding series but it's behavior I hadn't seen before.
I thought the poop sack was just picked up off the nest not taken directly from the baby's butt.
Here the mother is coaxing the sack out.


Now she pulls on the sack.


Now she's ready to fly off and drop it in the creek.
I'll try for a less gross series next time.
