House Sparrow

They only come to the feeders in winter so there's a small flock in the
yard now. This female is waiting her turn. Although common and
aggressive they are somewhat attractive when seen
close up.

And again this is another photo taken through the patio door, Ottawa

How lovely! It is interesting that you still have the house sparrows, they have not been in my garden for years, nor at the Fletcher Garden where once they were abundant.
