Song Sparrow (3 photos)

While waiting for the scaups to swim closer to us this song sparrow landed nearby to
have a morning bath.

A brief pause...

Then the bath continued with gusto.

Very well captured. I always find it quite enchanting to watch the birds having their often quite furiously active baths!

Nice series, Linda. Bathing certainly conducted with a lot of thrashing about! You could have had a shower if you had been a bit closer. Great timing to capture the water droplets.
