battleblade1

Okay really quick,
The knife started as a ˝ inch thick piece of 6AL4V Titanium.
All guards are integral.
The cutting edge is Stellite, which has been press fit, kind of like a jig-saw puzzle.
Handle is Mastodon ivory, which sits inside an integral carbon fiber pocket.
Blade length is 10 inches.

Holy Smokes!
Great Photo’s Shelby. Thank you very much.

The knife is completely integral. It started as a piece ˝ inch thick 6AL4V Titanium.
I cut the profile, then press fit the Stellite cutting edge. Nothing holds it in place. There is no bonding agent.

Then the work started.
For those of you who have never ground Titanium…it sucks.

The handle is blue fossilized Mastodon ivory. It sits in a pocket of carbon fiber.

Its kinda fast in the hand.

Thanks for all the kind words.

Mick
