"Tsujun-hashi"("Tsujun" means "Carry the water") is the name for this bridge. This bridge is not for people, but for water built about 200 years ago. Mr. Yasunosuke-Futa thought how to bring water for farming crops from Sasahara river to Shiraito-highland stride over the "Gorou vally", and the answer was this bridge. There were no high technologies to manage the high pressure of water in "Edo" era, but he succeeded to make pipes of stones and clay! This water "Spout" is for stone pipe cleaning.
