These two were doing a ride from Arizona to Annapolis, MD to raise funds for skin cancer research.

Dirck talked to them again on 6/22 to give them directions off the C&O Canal Towpath to take Whites Ferry
across the Potomac to Leesburg, and then to take the W&OD trail into Washington where they were ending their ride.
