New Orleans Neighborhoods - May 2, 2007

The photographs in this gallery were taken by a group of 7th and 8th graders at T H Harris Middle School. Prior to the field trip, they located their neighborhood using google maps, researched their neighborhoods prior to Katrina, and began making brochures. The field trip visited the following neighborhoods in New Orleans : Navarre, Lakeview, the 17th Street Canal Breach, the 6th Ward, the 7th Ward, the upper 9th ward, the lower 9th ward, and Mid-city. Special Thanks to Dr. Betsy Almerica and Mr. Stephen Barnes, DOT Intern for their help in completing this project.
