New Orleans......14 months after Katrina.....The Rebulding Continues

The pictures in this gallery were taken on October 30, 2006 by students in Ms. Lorio's English I classes. The areas visited were Lakeview, the 17th Street Canal Levee Breach, the lower 9th ward, and the Industrial Canal. Hurricane Katrina had made landfall in LA/MS on August 29, 2005- 14 months before these pictures were taken.
