Hi, I used to travel to Mt. Rushmore with my family every year. My Great Grandmother turned 100 years old this year and I found a picture that she took while traveling out west. You can view this picture at http://msu.edu/~wheeloc9/Photos.html I thought some of you might like this picture of the "Boys" in their younger days.

I havent been to see the "boys" in at least 3 years so great 1st to see great photos of the mountain & especially enjoy seeing it after the cleaning you can so see the difference the white of the faces just seems to jump off the mountain. Thanks for taking so many glorious pictures including the tunnel shots.

Fantastic set of photos. I almost feel like I don't need to go there now since I have seen such great photos of it, but I know even very nice photos of it as these are don't give the same awe as in person. You had some rather blah skies to work with, but I think you did a great job.

Very good job. All of them are great but I like the "Crack in the Rock" better without the flash, gives you the feeling of being in the cave looking out.
