In the background you can see the Sawtooth Mountain range. I'm told they are the roots of ancient volcanoes, and much of the surrounding geography is volcanic in nature.

Geez, Greg... this is superb. I'm just wild about the blue dusk you've got and the opposing sailboats is so nicely repeated in the pier light. AND... I had no idea that there was a volcanic area in Minnesota...
