This gallery is a collection of receipts and photos from some of my favourite moments with other people. On the back of each receipt is a short description of what I was doing, and who I was with.
I don't remember what inspired me to start collecting receipts throughout these past few years. I think the original motivation is lost to time. What I do know is that I cherish my unnaturally good ability to remember faces, names, events, and people greatly. Sharing is caring, so I wanted to give back the memory of these moments with everyone who has made them possible. Some of the people mentioned in this journal may have left my life for various reasons, some may have just entered, and some I may have known for many years.
I definitely know that I will continue to archive these memories and add those who I may have not gotten the chance to add yet. Regardless, if I have elected to share this project with you, it means each moment I spend with you makes it all worth it and I hope we can continue to create more memories in the future.
