Bernard (Bernie) Harberts is an adventurer, philosopher and writer, who has navigated most of the world's oceans in various sailboats, crossed America on foot accompanied by Woody the mule, Magnolia the pony, and his trusty notepad.

Bernie is currently preparing to travel from Canada to Mexico with mule Polly and a wagon, in hopes of learning even more about America and Americans. He's calling this newest journey the "Lost Sea Expedition". Once a navigator, always a navigator...
