Well, I have a whole bunch of shots pertaining to "Ethiopian Art". So I figured I would put them in
their own gallery. I must say, that Ethiopian art is very colorful, graphic, and sometimes strange.
Most of these shots are from Monasteries in Gonder, Axum, Lalibela and Lake Tana. Note also, that
these are just small, really small, sections of murals which often covered whole church exterior
and intereiors. I will also do my best to give you my personal interpretation, including pointing
out the various guest appearances, such as Jimi Hendrix, as well as all the blood, severed heads
and cartoon characters. In all honesty though, and no matter how much I insult the Orthodox Church
in my comments, some of these murals and paintings are extremely old and sacred to the monks, as
well as the people, of the particular church shown. So I'll apologize now, before I start the gallery...
