My 1972 Volkswagen Beetle 1200

I bought my beetle in 1997. as you might see in the first pictures the car was a wreck. it took me until 2004 to rebuild it. in this gallery I collect the pictures of all the work that was done.
Through the years some pictures are missing, I hope to find them sometime to add them.

A great job rebuilding your Beetle! I just love mine, got it 1997 from a older lady who drove it to the market for 25 years, only has now 77,000 km. You did a lot of work and should be very proud!

asif from islamabad: A very good hobby. i am also v.w lover. I have a toyota surf,96; coure,2000; and v.w 1971.among these 3 vehicles, v.w is my lovely jaanoo.u will find surf covered with dust, but v.w never ever untidy. when get free time, sit on the chair and keep watching v.w . i polish the car, 10, to 15 times a month, and believe me, it is not an exageration. my children r not allowed to open or close the doors ruthlessly.

i really want a 72 but evryone is just adamant that its not even sometjhing that u can call a car. i love it. this is one car that can actually be everythnig that you want it to be. it has got so much pazzazz!!!ROCK ON DUDES!!!WEN I SEE U IM GONNA HOOT UR WAY

I have a 72, just wish I had the know how to restore mine. Thought it was going to be somewhat easier then it is turning out to be. Can't even get the new sunvisors installed correctly. I am such a clutz. LOL
