The above is a recent shot, taken with my Nikon 20.9 Mpx, D500 camera and my 500mm Nikon f5.6E AF-S PFED lens. As indicated previously, I've had the D500 for over six years and still really like it. Combined with either the 200-500mm Nikon lens and/or with the currently attached lens, which I recently purchased, it works well for me. In my opinion, it provides good quality images and is light enough for me to hand-hold; thus, I've pretty much retired my tripod and monopod as I've traded-in my heavier lenses. In conclusion, I've decided to simply stay the course at this time.
