I encountered these two buddies sharing some preening companionship after finishing their breakfast. The problem with taking their photo was that the Great (white) Egret and the darkish Green Heron presented an exposure issue. I resolved this by taking a few shots with exposure adjustment set for the Egret, then a few shots with the exposure set for the Heron. Then, in P.S., I carefully cloned the Heron of the 2nd set (with exposure set for the Heron) over the underexposed Heron of the first set (with exposure set for the Egret) to obtain this image.
