In yesterday's posting we bid adieu to the last of the two fledglings. Today, it is goodbye to one of the adults, namely Mom, as she flies out of the picture. I've enjoyed watching the progress of this little family over the past number of weeks. Initially, Mom and Dad seemed a bit concerned by my presence, but since I usually came at the same time, always, dressed the same and usually stood in the same location some distance from the nest, it appeared that they started to accept my presence as being just another piece of the furniture/landscape. Its been a fun learning experience. It was great to see both Mom and Dad equally tending to the young.
