Four images of a Black-billed Cuckoo paying me a visit whilst I was out shooting Warblers.

Top Image: The Cuckoo suddenly landed amid the apple blossoms where I was able to get a few quick portrait-type shots before it flew off to another tree a short distance away.


There it landed with its back to me and appeared to be looking back at me; however, some leaves blocked its view so it quickly turned to face me.


Apparently, it still wasn't happy with the view, so it jumped up to a higher branch for a better
view.


It observed me for a short while from this new perch before finally taking off.
