Our Yard

The Hummingbirds seem to have departed about two weeks ago and the flowers are about finished. Hence, I took down the feeder for this year. The above, head-on feeding shot, was taken towards the end of August.

superb and engaging image...here in the milder PNW the occasional hummer will hang around through winter, often a female who lagged behind anyway to nurture the young..
