Three images of a juvenile B-c Night Heron, from take-off - to flight - to landing.
Top Image. As I cleared some high weeds, I think I surprised this young Heron foraging for food.

The Heron almost immediately took off for some nearby trees.

After it landed and adjusted its position several times, it finally settled down and started to preen its feathers.
