20170909-1 5609 SERIES - Eastern Gray Tree Frog r1.jpg

Ottawa West

Two images showing the relatively small size of these Tree Frogs.

Top Image. The Tree Frog resting on a leaf that measures about 50mm (2 inches) across. It looks like at least three of the little frogs would fit across the width of the leaf.

A Canadian dime measuring 17mm (2/3 inch) diam is about the length of the little frog. Note how the little frog just clings to the small vertical leaf. It probably clings to the leaf with its suction cup-like toes.

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Two terrific shots. A great idea to show the leaf in its entirety so as to give a good idea of the tiny size of the frog. The second shot is just a delight in all its close up beauty.
