Some 10-12 years ago I saw my first Great Egrets in our area. I saw two then which was quite exiting. Since then, more and more have come and they are now summer regulars, some even nesting here.
Presently, with the water levels very high, the Egrets have had to search for alternate spots to feed. These three are part of a group of some twenty seen at AHP this particular morning. Previously and since this day only one to three have been seen at the park at any time, mostly, just the one.
