Two images of Common Loons. Loons are my favourite water fowl. This one was taken at a friends cottage on the same lake where we had a cottage for 28 years. We sold it about six years ago. I used to be on the "Loon-monitoring" team for our end of the lake, so these pictures brought back some great memories. There were two adults and two young, not too far from the shore.
