When I arrived early the second day after the young Owlet had fledged, I found it some 15 meters above the ground on a branch. It had finally made its way up after many futile attempts the afternoon before. Here it is doing some wing exercises. It was not able to do those in the tight nest cavity, unlike Great Horned Owls, Osprey etc whose young can freely exercise their wings on top of their nests.
