After the first day struggles,out of the nest, the next morning I found the young Owlet up in the trees, again with Mom close by. Looks like some blood on the beak, indicative of it having been fed. It was up about 15 meters above the forest floor perched comfortably on a branch. One day later, it was found again, but much higher up in the forest canopy - so much for photo-ops.
