The Chickadee hovered right in front of the Owl as if it wanted into the hole. The Owl didn't bat an eye, then the chickadee landed about 60cm (24 inches) below the hole. I couldn't get them both in the frame; hence, I took two shots and then vertically merged the two images, pano-like as shown above.
