20160120 291 SERIES - Coopers Hawk2.jpg

Our yard

Two consecutive images of a Cooper's Hawk diving to catch a Sparrow, but again a miss. Shots taken through our kitchen window.

Top image: Second shot in the sequence - just managed to catch its beak in the corner of the frame.

First shot as it dives from the top of the fence.

Two very nice action shots of this wonderful bird. I like how you have the hawk exiting the top frame.....works well with the circumstances of the image.

Love the top one with the bill just coming out of the frame. Both shots are impressive; I know how fast these birds move!
