An image from my first series of shots of 2016, my first Raptor, my first Hawk and my first backyard visitor (other than the regulars.)

Had to work hard for this one, LOL. Just sitting at the kitchen table helping my wife with her puzzle when the Cooper's Hawk showed up looking to grab one of the many Sparrows at my feeders. Ran downstairs, grabbed my camera, ran back up and "voila" got my 20+ shots through the kitchen window, but then the Hawk took off, scared away by a dog and walker behind the fence.
