Top image: A young House Sparrow is having a joyful bath until forced out by an other juvie. (We have a lot of House Sparrows in our backyard. Often there are five or six in the birdbath, leaving no room for other birds.)


A chickadee is forced to have a bath in our small shallow fountain whilst the House Sparrows monopolize the larger birdbath. The Chickadee doesn't look to pleased.
