20141118 181 Cooper’s Hawk (juv).jpg

Our yard - through the kitchen window.

A coldddd, windyyyy day, but I'm toasty warm inside having lunch at our kitchen table when this young Hawk shows up.It stays around for over 30 minutes, stalking and chasing House Sparrows hiding in some evergreen shrubs at the back of our yard. It never did catch any and I haven't seen it since.
