Two images: The top, a Cooper's Hawk that was found to be harassing one of the two young Great Horned Owls, both still present in the park. The Hawk was making a lot of noise as it flew in and out of the tree in which the Owl was perched, at times getting quite close to the Owl.
The young Owl, in the second image, wisely played it cool and never moved, except for keeping its eye on the annoying Hawk. I think that the Hawk has forgotten that its mate or one of its cousins ended up on the dinner table when the Owlets were still in their nest - see http://www.pbase.com/hankvv/image/150077535 .
After much squawking and harassing, the Hawk finally flew off.
Great Horned Owlet, now about 5.5 months old appears pretty much full grown. The young Owls appear to be on their own now. About a week ago, several people saw one of the young Owls having a Mallard for dinner. I'm not aware that anyone has seen either of the adults for some time now. The young Owls are now generally found at the north (river) edge of the park, a considerable distance from the nest tree.
