20130713 202 SERIES - Red-eared Slider Turtle.jpg

Ottawa West

Three images, three views of a Red-eared Slider, a Turtle not usually found in our area. It is most likely an escaped or released pet. According to one observer, this Turtle has been around for several winters; hence, it seems to have adjusted to our cold winters. It is about the same size as our abundant Painted turtles.

Super series, Hank. We had one at the FWG pond for a couple of years. But that was when we had a mild winter in between. Love your wonderful photography.
