Three images: Like the postings of the previous two days, the Top (final)Image is made from two shots, #'s 285 & 280. In #285, I spot-focused on the Tussock's head whilst in #280 I spot-focused on the Tussock's rear. Then in Photoshop I cloned the in-focus rear end from 280 over the out-of-focus rear end of 285, thus creating a mostly in focus Milkweed Tussock. For comparison, I've included the two original shots of #'s 285 and 280.
Top Image; Final as modified image, with # 285 being the primary image. Note: both the head and the rear end of the Tussock are in pretty good focus.
Original # 285 image. Note: the rear (near) end is slightly out of focus and the far (head) end is in good focus.
Original # 280 image. Note: the rear (near) end is in good focus, but the head (far) end is slightly out of focus.
