Two images of the male Redstart checking out and trying to chase away the phantom intruder; namely, his own image which he can see in our kitchen windows.



NOTE: The male Redstart returned this morning whilst I was having breakfast. All of a sudden I heard a ticking sound on the patio door, and there he was flying up/down the glass. He only did it a few times, then when he saw me he moved away to perch on a downspout for a few minutes. He then flew to our birdbath, had a drink and flew away. I didn't see him again after that. Perhaps he just came to say "GOODBYE".
