Four images of Shelducks. The Shelduck (Tadorna Tadorna), also known as mountain duck is a goose-like bird midway the size of a large Duck and Goose.

Top Image: This male Shelduck was standing at the edge of the water when I first approached.


The Shelduck flew off almost immediately when it spotted me.

This shot of a pair (male and female) was taken with my Nikon Coolpix P100 at "Het Zwaanenwater" North Holland.
