A Humingbird at our backyard feeder.
Note: The little red spot on the Hummingbird's throat. Someone suggested that this indicated it to be a female Anna's Hummingbird, which reportedly occurs only on the Pacific coast from southern B.C to Mexico. I had assumed that the red spot indicated a juvenile male Ruby-throated. Any other opinions would be appreciated. (see also http://www.pbase.com/hankvv/image/117365512 for more images of this Hummer.)
Note, also: the reflection of the garden flowers in the glass of the feeder.
