My very first sighting (that I know of) of the Northern Mockingbird, a rather rare bird around here. Certainly my first shot of one. I was using my 500mm lens + 1.4 T.C. to shoot the Hawk Owl perched up high in a tree. I could have easily used a 200- 300 mm lens to shoot the Mockingbird as it sat there and posed for a considerable time.
