Four Images of the 10 week old young Loon.

The young Loon was doing some wing stretches when all of a sudden it took off as though trying to get airborne. It was about 20 - 30 meters from one of the adults and literally ran over the surface of the water towards the adult Loon, flapping its wings as it ran. It caught me off guard, so I only got the initial wing-spread and the landing next to Mom/Dad.
