Second posting of four for this series. (Continued from yesterday)

When my Grandson and I approached the dock on which the 30 something Mergansers were lounging, The BOSS shouted, "Take to the water, quick".


They all jumped down quickly and waited for further direction.


Mom jumped into the water too.


Mom directed her charges to congregate on the other side of the dock. Some were not too happy to have their naps cut short.


Mom taking the lead, told them "FOLLOW ME". (This image is a merger of two images. It shows the tail end of the group.)


Like "Ducks-in-a-row", there they go, THE BOSS in the lead.
