W.L. Wurfflein Shotgun

Double-barrel, 12-gauge shotgun with Damascus barrels made by W.L. Wurfflein of Kitzengen, A/M. (Germany). Serial number found on buttplate. This particular maker used a beautiful one piece horn trigger guard which forms an ornate pistol grip. Not much is known about this maker and it would be interesting to learn if he had any connection to the Wurfflein gunmakers of Philadelphia.
