This double action revolver as all Merwin and Hulbert revolvers exhibit fine craftmanship and precision machining. This model has the improved top strap as well as the patented hammer spur. This was accomplished by the cylinder sliding far enough on the cylinder pin to allow fired cases to drop between the cylinder and the recoil shield.
