I just purchased a zimmerschutzen today (4mm) that was made by E. Triebel, Augsberg. It is all engraved and a beautiful target rifle. I am trying to find out more about him if anyone has any information. Appreciate any help.

I just picked up a nice Kessler fully engraved like your but mine is a bit worse for the wear. In discussing the age og mine some though that the numbers stamped on the barrel were a date that it was made. I think our rifles are related and were produced at the same shop and then sold from different retailer's. Mine is marked H 20714 on the barrel under the forearms and the same proofs as yours. I have not recieved the rifle yet but I would bet that my breech block is stamped just as yours is, and that has to be a serial number, not date it was made. Thanks for the wonderful pictures
