Engraved Hepburn 38-50

The gallery shows a beautiful engraved .38-50 Hepburn. This rifle is matched. The butt stock is a special order showing the Remington part number small 9 and larger 033. This part number is cast on the inside of the butt plate as well. The past owner indicated that it was rare as he claimed there were only seven known at the time. Barrel length is 32 inches, LOP is 14 1/2 inches, and weight is 8 pounds. Of note - this rifle SN 7453 and the following Hepburn gallery (Special Order Hepburn), SN 7454 are consecutively serial numbered Hepburn rifles.
